SARAE

Sarae is our head piercer and tattoo artist ! She started out with us as a piercer but quickly was captivated by the art energy in Luv ! Sarae has been a natural talent her entire life, using any medium she could find to practice her passion. Her artistic sway was cemented in place when she was taken under the wing of a master artist Richie. She is now tattooing and piercing full-time and has truly come into her own! Between her great spirit and insane talent she sincerely represents what Luv Ink stands for !

I am very important. I have many leather bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany 🤪 HEHE JK… I enjoy working behind the scenes in Luv ❣️ While I don't wield the tattoo gun myself, my mere presence infuses the shop with an enchanting aura. I make sure our artists feel the mystical vibe, and clients sense the magic in the air. I attempt to control the chaos, although I don’t always succeed 🙈 but I do try to keep the shop from spiraling into tattooed mayhem. Need an appointment? I'll magically find you a slot. Low on black ink? I'll summon some from the darkest depths. A few of my duties are; Budgeting; The financial realm may seem mundane, but not in my world. I weave a spell over our budget to keep the books balanced and the shop prosperous. Marketing; With a stroke of my virtual wand, I conjure marketing spells that draw new clients like moths to a neon sign. I also cast a spell of good reviews that keep clients coming back for more enchanting ink.

RICHie — OG LUV INK, RESIDENT FELLA & MUSCLE 🖤

Rich has been tattooing for over 15 years and is part of the original Luv Ink story. He and Sarra started Luv Ink together 11 years ago, and after some chapters, plot twists, and life doing what life does… he’s back.

Rich is the one and only guy on the Luv Ink team, surrounded by our fierce female fleet. We love him, but we also keep him in his own area 😏 — so any client who feels most comfortable in a women-only space can hang with the girls in their section.

Rich is a seriously talented tattoo artist, but tattooing is only one part of his creative brain. He also paints, creates murals, produces music, and performs — basically, if it involves making something, there’s a good chance he can do it.

He’s also our unofficial muscle, security department, heavy-stuff carrier, and protector of the fleet. 💪😂

And yes, the family connection runs deep: Rich and Sarra’s daughter, Sarae, is now Luv Ink’s Head Artist — so this little shop they started more than a decade ago has truly become a family affair.

Meet Ericka ! Art school grad with a love for oil paint, sketchbooks, and curated chaos. Master’s in Urban Youth Development. Started as a tattoo shop receptionist, got hooked, picked up a machine—and never looked back. Obsessed with fine line, illustrative styles, and slowly diving into large scale, bold color pieces. Jack Rudy made me do it !

From snapping fresh ink to spinning reels that slap, she’s here to make sure our socials stay as bold as our linework. Part content queen, part chaos coordinator, all passion—she’s got the eye, the angles, and the attitude.

Ever since middle school, she’s been obsessed with body art — long before she ever set foot in a studio. What started as experimenting with piercings on herself and her friends soon evolved into handmade stick-and-poke tattoos that sparked a lifelong passion for tattooing and piercing. Now, as an apprentice artist, she’s channeling that same fearless curiosity into mastering professional technique, hygiene, and design.

Her work blends that DIY spirit with a growing knowledge of studio craft — each piece a reflection of her journey from curious teen to dedicated artist in training. She’s driven by the belief that body art is more than skin deep — it’s a form of self-expression that connects stories, confidence, and creativity.

Her love for tattooing started early, sitting in the chair and falling in love with the process from the inside out. Inspired heavily by Marvel artwork and powerful visual storytelling, she’s drawn to bold lines, character-driven designs, and meaningful pieces. As an apprentice, she shows up every day committed to learning, evolving, and putting everything she has into her craft.
